REMEMBER, it takes a chemical to waterPROOF something, which is why our wool is NOT waterPROOF but rather very moisture resistant. It is Not Waterproof. This is why you must use an organic cotton quilted pad on top of the wool. You must have some cotton (like a 100% organic chemical free towel or something) on top of the wool pad to absorb the liquid.
If money is an issue, believe me, I understand...you can use a very THICK, very ABSORBANT 100% organic chemical free bath towel or something instead of the cotton pad.
Wool rarely needs washing because bacteria and mold do not grow on wool. Wool naturally resists mildew, bacteria and dust mites.
